Getting Fit With A Friend

One of the best ways to get fit is to do it with a friend. This is because you will be motivated by them as well as yourself. Although some of us have good self discipline, there are many of us who do not find that we push ourselves very hard. It can be very easy to not bother with doing something, to find an excuse not to do it. There are some good reasons why we might not be able to exercise, but if you work hard you should be able to still find the time.

This is why it can be really good if you get fit with a friend. If you organise to exercise with them at a certain time each day or week, then you will have to keep that appointment, You will find it far harder to cancel because you will not want to let them down. It can be a really good way to make sure that you always do that exercise.

Finding the commitment is not easy but if you do decide to work with a friend then you will find that you will do better. However, there are disadvantages to working with a friend. Research has shown that if you exercise with a friend, you do not push yourself as hard. However, if it means that you are doing some exercise in a boot camp and would otherwise not have done any, then it is better than nothing. Therefore you need to decide whether you think you would be capable of sticking to an exercise plan without a friend or whether it would be better to have them to encourage you to do it, but you not work the body as hard. It should actually be an easy decision because it all depends on your personality and you will know whether you have that level of commitment or not.
